This Marilyn Monroe Diamonds Costume is based on one worn by Marilyn in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. It's a strapless tube of bright pink polyester interlock knit with elastic around the top edge and a long slit up the back. The large pink bow is assembled by folding the square piece and sliding it into the tie sleeve. It then fastens to the back of the dress by Velcro™ strips. The belt is pink poly interlock that fastens in back with Velcro™ and has a silver-tone buckle with clear faux gems at the front. The pink poly/spandex gloves extend above the elbows. Add a Marilyn wig and plenty of faux diamond jewelry. Please, we're talking serious here.
